Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using NoteMap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. AI Service Disclaimer

NoteMap uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate content. By using the service, you acknowledge that:

  • AI generation may produce inaccurate or "hallucinated" information.
  • You should verify important facts, figures, and medical/legal information generated by the AI.
  • The visual style is artistically generated and may vary between requests.

3. User Content & Data Handling

You retain all ownership rights to the notes and files you upload to NoteMap.

Transient Processing License: You grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process your uploaded files solely for the purpose of generating the mind map. We do not retain, store, or claim ownership of your raw input files after the generation process is complete.

Generated Assets: The resulting mind map images are stored by NoteMap (via our storage partners) to provide you with a history of your creations.

You agree not to upload:

  • Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities.
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Sexually explicit or violent content.

4. Intellectual Property

The NoteMap application, interface, logo, and code are the property of NoteMap. You obtain ownership of the specific images generated for you, subject to the terms of the underlying AI models (Google Gemini).

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoteMap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
